The Thin Skin features a full v-looped thin skin base that creates the appearance of hair growing directly out of the scalp, with no knots and a naturally undetectable look from both sight and touch. The smooth skin base gives you a clean, consistent surface for tape or adhesive all the way around, making attachment, removal, and cleanup more straightforward than any full lace design. The 7.5″ x 9.5″ base can be cut down to any size without restriction. It is the right choice for men who want a realistic scalp appearance and a base that is easy to handle, and who are willing to trade breathability for that result.
It is available in 11 colors with 0%-100% gray mix options. Gray hair from 5% to 70% uses synthetic gray hair. For 80% and 100% gray systems, the gray is a 50/50 blend of human gray hair and synthetic hair.

- Shipping costs are calculated based on the chosen shipping method, weight, destination and the number of items in your package.
- Please allow 1-2 weeks for any online hair service or styling (base cut and/or haircut), after which your order will be shipped.
- ALL orders placed online with Overnight Shipping must be submitted and received before 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Any order placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day. Please expect delays during the holiday season.
Return Policy: Stock Hairpieces
- You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your untouched hairpiece for a full refund, minus the shipment fee.
- A restocking charge of $15.00 or more per item will be applied if the returned item is not in its original condition and packaging. (If you want to avoid the restocking fee, ensure we get the hairpiece or item just as you received it. We do not accept used and washed hairpieces. Ensure that the net covering and moulds are intact too)
- If you have selected a final sale hairpiece, such as base cut, hair styling, bleached knots, perm, or any service that alters the hairpiece permanently, it can no longer be returned or exchanged.
**While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of each color and gray percentage of our hair units, it’s important to note that the color representation on electronic devices such as phones, tablets, and monitor screens may vary from the actual color of the hairpiece. This can happen due to factors such as lighting sources, digital photography, or personal color perception that affect how the colors appear to individuals. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen portrays the hairpiece’s accurate color.
1. Why choose these toupees over Lace ?
Some people prefer Thin Skin units due to their lack of noticeable knots (for v-loop’d ventilation of stock units), and the look as if the hair is coming right out of the scalp. However, v-loop’d thin skin tends to last less long than lace for mens toupee.
2. What is the difference between V-loop, Knotted and Injected thin skin?
These are different methods of ventilating (i.e. tying) the hair. Knotted is the strongest, but occasionally, knotted thin skin can have slightly noticeable knotting. Next is V-loop, which is less durable than knotted, but has no knots, as the hair is tied by looping through. Injected has the hair ends directly injected into the thin skin. Injected is the most labor intensive ventilation and therefore must be ordered custom at increased cost.
3. How natural does a thin skin hairpiece look?
Thin skin bases are designed to blend closely with the scalp, creating a smooth and natural appearance. The transparent base can become less noticeable when properly fitted and attached.
4. Is a thin skin hairpiece comfortable to wear?
Yes. The lightweight and flexible PU base is designed for comfortable everyday wear while maintaining a secure fit.
